V Franck Wetsch
With creative art as her lifelong passion, Victoria’s career as an artist and designer began in 1978 following her education at the Art Institute of Portland. She became an architectural store planner and commercial interior designer with leading upscale retailers in Oregon and Washington. During the course of Victoria’s design experience, she developed an interior design and visual display company in Portland, Oregon which eventually expanded to include a full service floral showroom where she earned prestigious design awards in Oregon competitions. After Victoria’s move to Montana, she studied at the University of Montana and in 2002, she was awarded an academic scholarship from the University of Northern Colorado where she earned her BFA in art and history. Working from her Montana studio and traveling across many states, Victoria exhibits, competes and demonstrates her artistic techniques. Since 2005, her works of art have been juried into national and international competitions, awarded and exhibited at galleries throughout the western and mid-western regions, including several national museums. Selected works have been published on book covers and in the Rosicrucian Digest: Atlantis, Egypt, Essenes, Orphic Mysteries and Hermetism editions. Victoria’s art was chosen by the international, Artist Magazine as one of their finalists in the 23rd Annual International Juried Competition. In 2006, Victoria was awarded a Professional Development Grant from the Montana Arts Council & the National Endowment for the Arts and her art works have been juried into the Missoula Art Museum and the Yellowstone Art Museum annual auction and gallery. Currently, Victoria's art was selected to show throughout the state of Nebraska with the ANAC Exhibition and her work was juried into the Colorado International 2011 Rosicrucian Art Salon.
